How much does maze cost?

Maze costs... your feedback! Alright, let us explain. We need your help in order to better understand what our users need most. That's why we offer you a free beta license.

You get:

  • An opportunity to use maze for FREE in your work, studies, or research, for up to 12 months
  • A FREE web-based technical support
  • A chance to participate in the development of a cool new technology

We get:

  • An input from a real-world user (you)

How can I get maze?

Periodically, we offer a limited number of free beta licenses. If licenses are currently available, you can subscribe. Once you fill out the form, and accept the terms of the license agreement, you will receive access to the "Downloads" area of this site.

Why do we need a license agreement? Why do you ask for my company name and address?

This is done for your and your company's protection. If you use maze in your product development, our license agreement ensures that Kloobok LLC has no rights to any part of your product.

What are the terms of the beta license agreement?

First, you get maze for 3 months of unlimited use. This means that you may install and run maze on an unlimited number of computers within your company for 3 months. At the end of this period we ask you to fill a questionnaire about your maze user experience. If you fill out the questionnaire and give us meaningful feedback, we give you a free maze license for 9 more months. The second license has two limitations: (1) maze can be installed on a single computer, and (2) we give at most 2 such licenses per company.

Do I need to fill both the user registration form and the beta license application form?

No. Just go straight to the beta license application. You will choose your username while filling in the form. You need to fill the user registration form only if you wish to post on the forum without downloading maze. If you decide to become a beta customer later, log into your account before filling in the beta license form.  The "Username", "Full Name" and "Email" fields will be filled in for you automatically.

When you set the price tag on maze, what will it be?

Maze is a professional development tool, and it will be priced as a commercial software. This means that it will be affordable for software companies. However, this price might be high for students and non-profit institutions. We will bear this in mind, and will have different options for these customers.
